Credibility: Non Ribby, but BARGAIN plasma

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Was in Currys today looking for a new toaster for the boat and came across an LG 42" plasma TV, for sale at £2499 code MZ42PZ10/14, I thought that was cheap and bought it, BUT when it came up on the till it had been reduced today by £1,000 to £1,497!! So if anyone is looking for a plasma TV then pop down to Currys, I don't think there will be too many left at that price I hope it helps someone.

P.S. The plasma is NOT for the boat but includes TV tuner, speakers and table top stand. The shop assistant got a shock so prepare your assistant for what will appear on his screen. They have just had a new system in and there are a lot of cock ups at the moment, but I'm a happy 1

He got told off a bit in that thread, he also features in the one about Alan Priddy's latest trip (called something like 'take four men and the best rib in the world')

Claims he was never banned from here and is still able to post under Happy 1. Also claims he was never banned from RIB net.

Was so easy to identify him by his /forums/images/icons/smile.gif every where and using the words learn and research all the time.

I don't know but his closing remark was "That would make one happy." It's a bit out of context and similar to how your original post ended. All IMHO.....

exactly - and I was lucky enough for him to not only let me know about this Curry's offer but also to find and reserve one last unit for me that night; which I duly collected (the nearest 5 stores didn't have a unit available 6 hours after the offer went live.
Very happy with the unit (and it's not on the boat!) - /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Not happy............

Great, but I don't need a new TV let alone a plasma TV. Not even for the boat!

Have just found a great deal on a pair of running shoes, anyone want the details? And a garden rake! Or maybe a new arm chair. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif /forums/images/icons/smile.gif /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Re: Not happy............

Amazing this , haven't we heard this story with different 'product purchase' before ? Can't be bothered to check posts though ..Other internet forums were posting the well-publicised price ( sub £1500) on this product on 2/8, so it was cheaper at the till ? Oh please , enough fairy tales.

P.S. Can I please order 4.5 new sofas at the afore-mentioned ex factory price of £3 11s 8d.

Re: Not happy............

Was the garden rake cheap? Where you happy when you bought it? Has it got a leather handle and a built in hand warmer? How much did you pay for it? Did you do any research? Do tell us more we could have a real discussion over that!
