Grubby Teak Decks

Quicksilver's 30 year old teak decks are looking grubby, they are showing a little bit of wear as you would expect but still sound. Patio Magic removes the green algae but not the grubbiness. It is worse in the area of heaviest use especially on the foredeck near the anchor and winch. I suspect is ingrained mud and dirt accumulated over the years. Any ideas how to clean it up a bit. I am thinking some sort of detergent and wash off with a kitchen scourer or a multi-fibre cloth. Any simple ideas welcome.

I have had teak decks for ages, the best thing for removing the annual collection of detritus is without a doubt a mixture of Ariel bio and vanish oxy action in a bucket , softish brush hot water across the grain you will be amazed by the muck that results,then rinse with fresh water allow to dry then 2 coats teak wonder .then go sailing for 12 months secure in the knowledge that you have not damaged the teak with naughty chemicals .
