GRP panel found today in Solent....

Whizzed past what my son thought was a floating seat cushion and turned round to pick it up to dispose of safely.

Turned out to be a GRP panel that has come off a boat.

Looks expensive to replace, so if someone is missing this pm me with more accurate description and we can arrange to reunite said panel and boat.

Looks like the transom closer on a Beneteau 36/38. We chartered one once and I was petrified it would fall off.. You lift it out to access the 'sugar scoop' stern. Perhaps repost on Scuttlebutt?

Looks very similar to the rear removable seat on a Bavaria 34 that I sailed on a a few weeks ago.
