Bit of a long shot, but can anyone recommend a competent grit-blaster in the Warrington area? I need to get my (twin) keels slurry-blasted asap.

Try North Cornwall District Council. Their gritting lorry didn't do a bad job on my car's paintwork!!

There's a Farrow mobile slurry blaster that has done a few jobs on the boats in Liverpool Marina, give the Marina a ring I'm sure they will have his number.
