Have any particular problems manifested themselves in Westerly Griffons? I'm on the lookout for a late Mark I/early Mark II example and want to know for what to look out prior to employing a surveyor.
As with most of the older Westerlies check carefully round the keel area for stress. When built the areas round the keel(s) were underspecified and consequently a lot of them has stress problems round that area. Most have since been repaired but a mate of mine bought one that hadn't.
