GRIB files / application

If anyone has problems unzipping the files, let me know and I'll upload a Windows Compressed Folder (.ZIP) version somewhere.

I've already done that for the Cruising Association membership, the link is the second one Frank gave:

I will keep that link updated with the latest version in .zip format. (Currently the version there is 6.1.1, the 6.1.2 version only added an updated Spanish translation).

I generally use Zygrib because of it's greater data options. However, one useful (unique?) feature of grib.us is that if you open a meteograph, right click and hold, then drag the cursor across the screen, the meteograph constantly changes to the data applicable to the position under the cursor: handy for a quick impression over a long passage.

If you download zyGrib then look for something to unpack it - if its not too late, dont try jzip. It has some malware embedded that took me a while to get rid of. 7-Zip or the trial version of WinRAR are good

Thanks now I know why I had to spend all last night putting my PC back together.

Thks guys will look at the other options when I get back from then boat as I am leaving on sunday.
