Gps dsc connection help needed

I want to connect a Standard Horizon 175c to a Northstar Explorer 725 and need help.
If anybody has this setup can you help?

I don't own either of these but from the manuals linked the connections for each device are shown as:

Northstar 725 VHF (Manual Download) Page 62

Green - NMEA IN(-) (from GPS)
Yellow - NMEA IN(+) (from GPS)
Orange - NMEA OUT(+) (to GPS)
Black - NMEA OUT(-) (to GPS)

Standard Horizon 175c (Manual Download) Page 18

Green - NMEA Common
Blue - VHF Input
Brown - VHF Output

So the connections between the devices should be:

Northstar VHF 	                SH 175C Plotter
Green  (NMEA IN-)     <--	Green (NMEA Common)
Yellow (NMEA IN+)     <--	Brown (VHF Output)
Black  (NMEA OUT-)    --> 	Green (NMEA Common)
Orange (NMEA OUT+)    -->	Blue (VHF Input)

You may also need to configure the inputs/outputs on the devices - I haven't checked but the information should be in the manuals I have linked to above. The speed will need to be 4800 baud for this connection to function.

Hope this at least gets you started.

I really appreciate your help.

I completely failed to find the PDF of the 175c manual on the web so I was struggling a bit. I look forward to ticking at least one job off the to-do list on next visit to the boat.
