Goodbye boat.

I've just sold my 11 year old French boat today. To those of you who doubt the build quality of our continental counterparts she passed a survey with flying colours. Since my new boat ( again foreign this time Swedish)isn't arriving until October withdrawal symptoms are setting in already. To alleviate them I'm thinking of chartering in Croatia. Has anybody any experience of sailing there recently.

An old edition this year had a review of a sunsail holiday there.

it sounded great. Lots of islands, cheap, nice winds.

Fantastic place to sail. I have a Bavaria 38 in Split and, until I retire & go blue water, wouldn't go anywhere else. Tried, Spain, Turkey, Aegean, Ionian but I like Croatia best.

Company called Ecker yachting have lots of boats in Trogir. Very convenient, close to Split airport. I beleive Sunsail are also establishing a fleet there also.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you go.
