I suppose we should be gratefull
But does 0% mean
1. They made a profit last year so carry some money over.
2. Got the year befores budget wrong and charged us too much.
3. Expect to spend less this year despite inflation going up so will reduce costs or services.
4. Can we therefore expect a discount next year
I suppose I might have been happier if it was only going up 0.5%, thats a bit less suspicious.

Yey , thankyou EA ! Your fees plus rising mooring fees have had me thinking about keeping the boat . This year has cost me a small fortune and i havnt used it for fun once

True.
We used ours slightly less than last year, but still managed over 15 nights aboard, and around twenty different trips!
Next year we'll spend a lot more time aboard, and reckon it's good value compared to a Pub...

You're lucky it only cost you a small fortune, some of these boats must cost a fairly reasonable fortune to keep / run!

You really have been slacking this year haven't you? A quick count puts our number of nights on board this year in the 50s. Agree we don't get as much use as we did in years gone by though, not sure why.
Lets hope next year is a good one!

Yes, I'll admit there have been more days spent tinkering with the engines than I would like but (touching a very large lump of wood!) the outdrives that so many people consider to be the plague of boating, have been behaving themselves...
Absolutely hate the boat when things go wrong and if someone offered Deb an even half sensible amount of money on such days, the boat would be sold without a second thought but when its working and the sun is out, there is little to beat it
