Good idea or not - Boadicea on Boadicea

sorry, a no for me as well I'm afraid.

if you like this pic, how about a ss version of it in 1/3 to 1/5 of the photoshopped size?

Large areas of fibreglass without any features don't look "right", Beneteau flybridges like the 9m have a large piece over the front window. I looked at one of these as I was thinking of getting one ( or the 10.80 ) and I would have put portholes in to break up the white expanse.
I think your graphic is not in keeping with the resrt of your boat which looks business like and interesting.
How about a couple of lifebuoys ( old red/white types ) or something else with function? Perhaps these could be removable when underway?

I think the problem is the style of image - but a more modern and minimalist line art image of boadicea could look quite cool.

no, go for the real thing - sodding great scythes extending out amidships. Put the fear of cod up the raggies :)

I think you need something simple on that white space. The image you have is trying to tell too much of a detailed story.

This is a bit arty and possibly pretentious,

but it could be made simple and invite people to ask about the Celtic symbology.

Or a slightly 'horned' war helmet with B's red hair flowing out to the sides ?

We all have different tastes but for what it's worth I think that any kind of graphic/picture on a boat is very unlikely to look good.
I don't actually think there is anything wrong with the look of the Corvette......quite the contrary in fact so I would leave well alone. If you really want to break up the expanse of GRP then maybe a life ring (old red/white type as already suggested) or even another set of trumpet horns. Whatever I would suggest keeping it subtle :)
