Came accross this great project of yacht damaged in storm a few years ago.... Have heard on the grapevine that it may be going very cheap, so a good project for a MOBO wanting something to keep them occupied over the long winter months. Just imagine this sitting in your driveway as you work on it. http://www.yachtmati.com/acajou/index3.htm

In best Med and Mid East fashion, all you get out of them is "make me an offer for what you think it's worth"!
So no indication on what would be acceptable.... though unless you can fit it in your driveway Ken, I should imagine that the yard fees would cost as much as the boat! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

It might only be a MOBO but it is still a very sad sight. I can't honestly see it selling for more than the scrap value

Wash your mouth out. That would keep the SailRoom.co.uk going for years. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

No. Disregard that. Dave would start a reconstruction project. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I must say that despite it being a MOBO, I am saddened to see that happen to such beautiful woodwork as I can't even begin to imagine the hours of craftsmanship involved in making such a wooden hull. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I'm not sure how many of you also noticed that there was a second page you could click through to with even more disturbing images of the same yacht!
