Ok I know this has probably been done to death but i really do need to get it sorted.

I have a week in France to get the boat surface polished & ready for the season, she is a thirty four year old Dufour 35 & I am sure the gelcoat is good, however the surface is dull and in places chalky. I want to clean/abrade the surface & then polish & wax.
I already have all the polishing/grinding tools, pads, sandpaper etc. BUT what is the best & easiest goo system to use to bring back the showroom shine..

I have brought a dull gelcoat back to a nice deep gloss with Marine Polish from Autosol, a German brand I think which you might find in France too. Next Seapower Cleaner and Wax, and a finishing coat with Starbrite Teflon. Always gets favourable comments.

Yep, I agree! The Starbrite 'Premium Polish with Teflon' really is excellent and does last for the whole season. Amazing shine too! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
