Golf in France

Is there anywhere accross the channel that would be good for a weekend golfing trip. Taking into account, distance from Marina e.t.c

Try Le Touquet; I believe there are a couple of decent courses near the town and Hardelot not far away. Boulogne probably the nearest port

yes le Touquet good spot. At this time of year, praps go on a little airyplane from Biggn Hill? Quite few operators will take you there and back. Not very boaty, tho, sorry.

My son has a Golf for sale, it's one of those super duper ones, convertible and has won lots of prizes at those VW Fest Car shows. No need to go to France, buy it here.

Our house overlooks a golf course. Nice view, but bloody nuisance of mowers and all kinds of vehicles racing up and down from 6.00am creating dust and stuff that gets into my cornflakes and coffee as I sit outside on the patio. Private war going on to stop this inconsiderate behaviour. Thought I was the only grump here(wifey said I was) until neighbour wrote to police chief and local rag complaining of same. However, rather amusing to see people in Flintstone carts hitting small balls all over the place and paying gazillions to do it. Think I'll stick to paying gazillions for boating.

Who wants to have a hobby where you need a handicap to play it? I upset a Golfer the other day, he asked me if I played, I said yes, he asked me my handicap and I told him I can never get the ball through the one with the windmill.
