Some more jobs complete.
Although the engine was installed and running last September the engine box was incomplete as it depended on other things like wiring and remaking the floor in front of it. so Before and after for the engine installation then the complete box compared with the original.
The original saloon table was well built with a bottle locker in the centre, but the leaves were in the dreaded Formica "teak". I had some Sapele veneer left over from a job lot that I bought 30 years ago when I was refitting Tranona and there was enough left over to do the table. I was fortunate to buy some premade teak corners with matching straight mouldings to make fiddles. Very time consuming - it has taken 3 weeks doing something almost every dat. Making templates, cutting and fitting veneers, reshaping the original table to suit the corners then sticking down ans finally 5 coats of varnish. Total hours not high but just fiddly jobs followed by waiting for things to dry etc. Very pleased with result. Again before and after photos.
