The purists amongst us, the greens amongst us and the thrifty amongst us will all have a different view BUT maybe we can all agree on something?
I have over 400sq/m of re-teaking to do and have struggled for nearly two years to find alternatives to teak. her's the thing genuine teak has natural oils that lend itself much much better than any other type of wood. But the green in me says I should go fake teak but even then the carbon footprint of recycled plastic against FSRC teak is hard to beat. Chopping down hardwood seems akin to an oil field gas flare, why are we still doing that!?
But now I have found a factory in Thailand that has all the green credentials (FSRC) sourced golden burmese teak. Now all i have to do is find someone to fit it in the height of summer in...Dubai. Not an obvious choice. ... any ideas?
