Odd, you might think, but I've just found the perfect frying pan for a taylors 030 stove in Ikea. Its square, had short "drawer" type handles, is cast iron and fits the top of the stove within the brass rail exactly. Fantastic!

Hi seagreen, don't suppose you have a product code for that to hand? sounds ideal, and I want some bed slats too... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks SG! yeah saw the bed slats thing in PBO a while ago and thought it was a fantastic idea, but haven't got round to doing anything about it yet. So many boat projects, so little time, so little cash...

Do it... well worth the drinking vouchers.
The big plus is the weight reduction... I used the slats in an Avon solid transom roll-away which used to have solid ply floors and I can now move the dinghy about on land single handed.
Still no sign of the wood (beech laminate?) rotting after two years and I didn't do anything to it.

Yes, a lovely pan. Only I still think that solid cast iron beats it, and in my boat (and I suspect others) the pan handle always snags on your pockets as you get up into the cockpit. If I hadn't been wandering about in Ikea anyway, slowly losing the will to live (SWMBO's treat) I'd lash out on one.

Anyone know what wood their wooden venetian blinds are made from? Seems a bit fine grained and stiff for pine.

[/ QUOTE ]The Lupin blinds are made from Paulownia (probably the Fortunei genus) and the Lindmon natural blinds are made from Lime according to the Ikea web site anyway.
