Hi,
I store my inflatable dinghy across the stern of the boat, when underway.
I've just replaced a Seago 270 PVC dinghy with a Hypalon version of the 270.
I need to glue two lifting eyes onto the port tube of the new Hypalon dinghy.
I can see lots of different PVC lifting eyes for sale, but I've yet to find a Hypalon version.
Does anyone know if there is a Hypalon version of a lifting eye available?
If not.
Is it OK to glue a PVC lifting eye onto Hypalon?
If it is, what adhesive would you recommend?

I wish I'd known you wanted some.

My Hypalon dinghy got trashed, and I rescued/recovered/removed all the rowing eye, outboard and lifting eye patches. They're stored in a bucket among my horde of other 'boatie goodies'.

I'd put them on the 'For Sale' list but can't be bothered.

Bostik 2402. It's what the RNLI use to glue their ILBs.

Make sure you abrade the surfaces beforehand, and follow the instructions re letting the adhesive go almost dry before bringing the surfaces together.

If you use Bostik 2402 to bond a PVC patch to a Hypalon tube you MUST prime the PVC patch first or you could get plasticiser migration.
