Gludys next New Tender

Not exactly a mean to go subsurface, but Arimar makes a small tender (7' or so) with a fully transparent hull.
Probably the easier, quicker and safer way to give at least a look under the surface.
Afaik, the only problem with that hull is the loss of transparency if scratched, i.e. when beaching.
But you would probably want a stronger/bigger "main" tender anyway, for tougher jobs.

Yep - tidal gates would not be the way to go - sort of a stop to all subs.

Mind you the outflow out of most locks would probably flush me away with a puny max speed of 4 knots. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi Paul
A friend and ourselves both with the same boats at Burry Port are planning a winter trip around to Swansea and we would be more than willing to berth up on your hammerhead and look after it for you while we are there! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You'd have a job creeping into Watchet under water!

[/ QUOTE ] Could be used to creep into Emsworth instead. Is there a facility to carry limpet mines?
