Glomex Digital TV Antenna

It's just a TV aerial that happens to be tuned to the frequency range that is used by the digital channels - bit of a marketing hype really - there is no such thing as a "digital aerial". You will still need the same equipment as before to receive whatever set of channels you want. If your TV is a digital telly, then you will get all the free-to-air channels provided the transmitter signal strength is high enough in your area. I'm not sure if there are any subscription channels on terrestrial DTV these days - if so, you may need an extra decoder to view them.

If I were to fit one of these to my boat, would I need a freeview decoder too? My TV is a bog standard digital tele, sans decoder.

As stated above, it is a bog standard TV antenna.

Takes me back to the days when colour was introduced in the 60's. People were coming along and wanting a 13 element Yagi antenna with each individual director of the antenna painted in a different colour. I kid you not !
