What about some points for a windlass? There could be extra points for a powered windlass on a boat so small you don't really need it. How about extra extra points for remote control with chain counters so you can anchor from the cockpit/helm?

Can I have some points for my Stainless Steel Cafitierre?

What about ascribing points for things we don't have.

1. Electronic compasses (by the way, I hate them as primary compasses although I quite like the fluxgate iand gyro in the autopilot to work!)

2. Powered Deckwash systems

3. Deck showers (for the pictures in the boat catalogue/brochure of women who are paid to sit on the transom and look elegant and slim). I know - some people really use them as well.

4. Epirb's - personal locator beacons with one for each crew and am alarm if someone goes overboard.

5. One of those systems that lets you phone your boat up and tells you what is happening - or phones you to let you know someone has just broken in.

6. Powered winches

7. Powered davits!

8. Outboard motor cranes

KevB, Diana 2 doesn't have electrical up down lift where the flatscreen TV rises out of a cabinet, unlike... um heck better not start a fight /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

you can get those tv lifts from h'a'fele , would be good on a helm seat eh . Speaking of h'a'fele they sell everything in ironmongary and gizmos and all top quality . Might be worth a google search for you lot to get stuff for the boats at cost , but you need an account with them .
