I joined the Gibraltar Shipping Enthusiasts Group on Facebook, all the pix on there, looks like the Gib authorities have brought in a lay barge to salvage it!

Ah, yes, ta! Seen the name of the boat. She has quite (anagram) few tales to tell!!

Looks like she sank off Coaling Island near the entrance to Queensway. oo er.

I recognise the Moody too...... and some stories there!

The Moody is in Marina Bay, Gib and as a 'project boat', keenly for sale!

The vessel Quiet Waters remains on the sea bed in the harbour. Was heading for Queensway Quay Marina to a new berth having left Alcaidesa for 'reasons'.

Allegedly he told the gang in Alcadeisa he was heading for Portugal with the Moody strapped to his side, no donk, no mast, and scaffold pole size holes through the side to join another one to it to make a Cat! In one of the pix as they are trying to save the quiet waters one you can see the Moody in the background

Some dont. But the ones Ive lived in over the last 20 years have been good!

Happy to report that the Moody has an engine and no holes for poles (!) in it.

Some dont. But the ones Ive lived in over the last 20 years have been good!

Maybe you don't turn up and five minutes later your fixing a satellite dish to the pontoon , chaining bikes to the power piling or putting your washing machine on the pontoon and do your washing .

Its the one in the picture. A friend of mine in Gib is advertising it for sale. So I emailed and asked him.
