Gelcoat touchup kit

As the title says Im looking for a repair pen?? For a couple scratches on my merry fisher 585, the hull it is a off white colour.

Haven't heard of a repair pen for gel.. easiest solution is tube of white gelcoat repair for about a tenner.
After that, you might get some gel from the main dealer, but it won't be cheap,or get someone to match it for you.. probably a few hundred quid to do that and the repair for you.
You can try matching it yourself.. there are some small kits for £10-20, but I think you would be lucky to get anywhere near close, or get some gel and pigments for a grp specialist.. but it is quite a skill matching..expect to spend hours on it.

I have successfully filled in deep scratches on my Princess with good results. You will need to visit a Glass Fibre supplier and buy a small tin of white Flo Coat (Gel coat), with a small pot of hardener, these will need to be mixed in a small pot. You also need to buy 2 or 3 small syringe's to suck up and apply the gel coat and visit your local supermarket to buy some cake colouriser, probrably Yellow.
Filling scratches is impossible as there is little for the gel coat to adhere to. I always usea Dremel with a depth gauge and run a 3mm cutter about 2mm depth along the groove, this also cleans the surfaces. Take a sample of gel coat tenough to fill a syringe and hold near surface to gauge colour differential and add small amounts of colouriser until you have a close match. Note the ratio used. Add the correct ratio of hardner, only a few drops. Fill syringe with gel coat and apply along the groove ensuring adequate fill. I then smooth a piece of cling film over the gel coat, tape in place and let it go off. It goes off pretty quickly and if its cold apply a little more hardener to speed process. Dont be tempted to remove the surplas to early as gel coat when hardening shrinks back and would leave an underlying surface in the morning thus needing a repeat process. Best left a day. Rub down with differeing grades of wet and dry and polish. Doesnt take too long, saves you money and quite satisfying. Re your post, I dont know of any kits out there, but you don't really need one. Probrably £20 for all the bits. Hope this helps.
