Gas Alarm Recommendations?

My Amos 12volt gas alarm has become unreliable and after inspection which disclosed some mild corrosion on the pcb I have decided to replace it.
We are a 12m sailing yacht with LPG galley cooker. The gas system was checked, modified and certified five years ago after purchase.
Should I replace like for like or have you recommendations. The current Amos has a remote sensor at cabin sole level near the galley stove where I could place a self contained 9volt battery alarm. A new Amos looks quite pricey!

I was thinking of buying a NASA alarm after several replacement detector heads needed on my Pilot Gas Alarm.

I have a Pilot. The sensors last about 2 years then start degrading taking longer and longer to initialise when switched on. They are sensitive to volitions (thinners fumes et cetera).

I would not recommend a Pilot for the degradation reason. However, after a particularly heavy night of curry and beer, a gaseous discharge tripped the sensor. They do what they say on the tin. Just carry a spare sensor.

If any of my crew behaved like that, they would be quietly advised that a turn around the deck should be taken at such times.

Many industrial Gas Alarms such as in my field have limited life sensors that require changing at set intervals. If they actually detect anything - some need change immediately after.

Plenty of Gas Alarms out there .... caravans / RV 's use them as well .... and not silly money.

But I agree that safety has 'no price'.
Any suggestions for one such?
Our Pilot has stopped working, even though I just replaced the sensors at €45 each. Kind of annoying.

We cook on electric 95% of the time so I'm a bit reluctant to spend big money on a replacement alarm. The supply is switched off at the bottle almost all the time.

Our NASA on Avy-J works very well and was not too expensive

Suggest a trip to a local Caravan / RV dealer shop .....

The one I have is of eBay ... but is same as I had from Caravan Dealer when I had caravans in UK

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have fitted a NASA gas alarm which seems to do the job without fuss for a more modest outlay than the Pilot.
