Garmin VHF 100i - replacement mic cable

Can someone point me in the right direction for a replacement mic cable for the above. The cable into the set doesn’t appear to be removable so again any help appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you can't get a replacement cable or mic, but contact Garmin support to be sure.

You'll likely have to tape it up, or remove the mic and heat shrink the cable, neither of which is pretty.

I'd be inclined to buy a new Standard Horizon VHF.

Interesting that you have suffered a degraded cable too. The one on my 200i did similar but at least it is removable. I would contact Garmin as they sometimes do low price exchange units.

Lots of people have asked this question about the Simrad RD68. There doesn't seem to be a solution.
Good business tactic, build in a non repairable component, make the mugs buy a new radio.
