I use both...I do love Garmin support but in the end..I do prefer Navionics visually.
Navionics HD on mobile is truly a fantastic bargain...I love it.

I must admit that i am not excited that they have done this, i do not like the Garmin charts and i hope that they did not buy Navionic so that they can starve it over time into submission .
I did like the fact that Navionics was an independent chart producer that worked hand in hand with almost all the major chartrplotter brands who all contributed thier own individual knowhows to optimise Navionics. Navionics has had more techno logic advancements that any other chart producer. Now that Garmin owns it, they many optimise it only for their own products .
...Worst thing about Garmin imho is the actual charts, which are Garmin home-made things.
Yep, i just see this as the first step to navionics charts not being available on anything other than garmin. Probably not good news in the long term
