Garmin 78 sc ??

Hi All.

Does anyone know, why the Garmin Gpsmap 78 sc, does not seem to be sold, in the UK ?
Yet the 78 s does ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The 78sc has pre-loaded US coastal charts. Not necessarily useful in the UK.

Thanks, for the prompt response, I looked at reviews, and none of them, came up, with the simple difference, that you did ! Ok Ill stick to the 78 s. Thanks.

I bought a 78s which has been very good, but bear in mind that you will need maps which are expensive.
Some suppliers used to sell these with maps included at a big discount to the price when bought separately, so it may be worth shopping around to see if they are available with maps included now.

If you're tempted, it's £10 cheaper at Marine SuperStore, plus free delivery...
