Here is a good one for a Saturday night. "Jimbo" is out of the water at the moment having some warranty work carried out. Boat new in February, anodes had all but dissappeared when she was taken out for a scrub in August. On inspection today, Shaft Anode on port side completly gone (set screw still in place, so it has'nt fallen off), starboard anode as new, large pancake anode, connected to boats earth system, showing sign of degredation. Why would the port one go so quickly and at the expence of the starboard one?
Should i fit a galvanic isolator? if so does anyone have experience of which one to buy and fit? Any other options?

'Why would the port one go so quickly and at the expence of the starboard one?'--- I don't really know, but lots of people on here will know and will answer you. A guess which may well be wrong, is that it may be cause by a boat next to you, the electrical force from which may attack your port side. Maybe tosh, but maybe not?
