Gallion 22 some specific replacement help

My Gallion 22 needs a couple of new things for the season...

The roller reefing drum is seized and although rolls in using the line, pulling on the jib sheets causes it to bend and the drum is very tight. The sail won't pull out. Obviously this is a problem and I want to address it as soon as possible. The mast is down and the drum is off but I'm not entirely sure if I'm replacing the drum, looking into it for the bearings or the foil needs attention.

Second question is the old sea toilet believed to be a simpson lawrence sl400 has been removed, I aim to fit something new. I know this model is no longer available but can anyone suggest a replacement. I would like it to be as low profile as the sl400 so I can use the v-berth double.

Final question... I've been offered the opportunity to fit an inboard engine, I know the obvious positives will be control in steering and more balance but how much will it affect the final price of the boat. If i was to sell I would like to make money not loose it...

Can't comment on the engine question but I am pretty sure you will not find another toilet with a profile as low as an SL 400.
I believe my boat was originally designed to accommodate an SL400 although Ball Heads were later supplied. I have scrapped my Ball head but I cannot find another to fit the space. The compact Jabsco ones are just a tiny bit too tall. I have considered a second hand SL400 but will probably end up with a Porta Potti or similar. If you still have the Seacocks consider a secondhand SL400. Spares are still available from SL Spares
 
Yes, all the new toilets are higher than the SL. In your roller reefing there is probably a bearing surface of some sort at the top of the foil and bearings in the drum. You need to find the make and then ask again.

Forget an inboard engine. Installation costs will exceed the value of the boat. Starting from scratch with the smallest new engine you are looking £5k+ - more if you do not have astern tube and beds already in the boat. A secondhand engine will reduce this cost a bit but it is rare to see decent used engines on the market. A decent Yanmar 1GM if you can find one will be at least £1000 and you still have all the other bits - controls, exhaust, shaft stern tube, prop, water and fuel systems to buy and install.

We sold our Galion 22 about 2 years ago, great little boat We loved shoal cruising in her. Can't comment on the fuller for the Gallion, as we had 3 sizes of Jibs on a single forestay. From experience with other boats I would suspect the Drum followed by the Head swivel and then the foil. You should probably take it all off the forestay and have a look for wear.

Our sea toilet was removed as were the thru hulls . For a while there was a 'porta potty' when this gave up its was replaces with a stout bucket! IMO a much better solution as it took up less space and there was no smell - the contents being immediately disposed of!

Our inboard went over the side and the space was very useful for storing all sorts of stuff. We had a 9HP Yamaha on a bracket on the stern. More than adequate as she was a fantastic boat to sail. IMO if you fit an inboard you will not add any real value to the boat, or at least not as much as the engine and fitting will cost, and you be giving up all that storage space.
 
I fitted a second-hand Yanmar 1GM10 last year and the cost was around £4500 including engine parts and new bedding, all systems and new shaft with prop . The engine we got for £1500 had to be fully serviced but at the end of the day it works well.
This year we took the boat for 10 days East coast cruising, practically it was her true maiden voyage after 8 months of refit project and she sailed beautifully. It was so easy with an inboard engine and also Yanmar is very economical - 0.5 l/h. Happy times :)
