I need to replace the tops on my galley. The sink is inset with a large lip and there is a fiddle rail edge that traps water. Whilst the coolbox/fridge is designed to act as a drain for any spillages...
I wonder has any one used an epoxy coating on a plywood base to create a one piece top
It strikes me that I could make a top with a marine ply base with the sink slung underneath and a step up to the hatch above the coolbox/fridge ..with fiddle rails allround and nicely rounded easy to clean junctions between the horizontal and vertical parts.
I thought about Corian or the like but I think the plywood/epoxy might be easier....
Any thoughts
