Has anyone got any usefull software (Shareware) references for helping with mundane calculations - ie tide height and flows - tried searching the web without much luck.

Have you tried www.neptune-navigation.com the've probably got a programme that will suit. Their tidal prediction programme is excellent IMHO.

WXTide is what I use. It's freeware. Only problem is that the UKHO has claimed copyright of UK tidal data so if it's UK tidal data is what you're after, I've put a copy of the older version that contains UK data on my website at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.ElectronicWorkplace.com>Work / <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.mustapha.com/cinnamon>Life</A> balance?
