Furuno 1730 Radar settings

Our boat came with a Furuno 1730 Radar which I'm really happy with
Only every time I switch it on I have to manually enable both range rings & heading line

Is this normal to this unit or is there a way of setting defaults?
Does anyone have a manual, I can't find one to download & Furuno doesn't have one

You need to try Google for furuno 1730 and go to the US site as here...
