Not enough information for full reply but,If you are talking about Furling/reefing gear it should be reasonably easy to self install if you have instructions from maker.I base this assumption on the fact that I have fitted two of the things with only minor problems(these caused as I only half read destructions)and if I can anybody can/forums/images/icons/smile.gif.

You dont say if you have a new/ reworked forestay to fit?
In my experience, Crusader supplied everything down to the drill bit on my Facnor setup. Amazing. I had mine done at the yard, because the rigger is very good, and he was making me a new spinnaker halyard anyway. But it was easy and took very little time to sort out, especially as the Facnor gear is telescopic. Just pull to length and drill through the pilot hole and rivet. Simple.

This is a facnor, Had it delivered a couple of months ago, waiting for mast to come down to fit. Had standing rigging replaced 3-4 yrs ago. Does the facnor just slide onto forestay? or does it replace forestay? As for the spinaker, my pole is so heavy and big I find it hard work and have therefore stopped using it. Whisker? pole on very long list of things to buy.
