Hey again all, hope someone can help me,

Had my boat on the Shannon at the weekend, teaming down with rain so put up the canopy, which on my boat consisted of a bimini top and clear plastic front wind screen extension sitting on its own aluminium frame, held down to the boat by stainless steel clip on studs.

I had replaced the studs just before going away on the canopy but not on the boat itself, meaning the connection althugh feeling good when the boat was on the trailer actually wasnt as good as before and whilst crusing the front screen part blew up, turning the bimini roof into a sail and blowing the entire canopy and frame completely off the boat (breaking a fishing rod that was sitting at the back of the boat in the process!), turned the boat as quickly as I could watching the canopy floating in the water but just as I got back to where it was it sunk into the depths and couldnt fish it back out.

Ended up getting soaked the rest of the day.

Thankfully my rear cb aerial was folded down at the time and the brackets which held the frame for the cover on remain undamaged.

This now means I need to get either a new or second hand full cover and frame to replace the one I lost, as well as using this opportunity to hopefully upgrade to a full enclosure type cover (Back and sides aswell as top and screen) as the weather over here in Ireland is so poor!.

My boat is blue and white, so a blue cover ideally and if anyone could direct me to someone who has one for sale or help me out I would greatly appreciate it, thanks again and hope someone knows where to find one!?

P.S.

Also if anyone knows where to get one of the small half sized trailer covers (that clips over the screen/ interior) that closes the open cabin in when im leaving the boat moored up as I only have a full sized trailer cover which is a brute to put over the boat when leaving it?

Sorry for not knowing the proper terms for all these items as im new to all this!

The cover for the windscreen for mooring and transport is called a Tonneau cover.

I know its not a four winns, but on ebay, if you look under Crownline, and then the advert that states crownline bimini, they maybe able to help. I know they're sellin a crownline top but if you took the poles to them, i'm sure they could make another set for you.
Depends on your location i guess. they're in Poole,or just outside.

He was on the Shannon, so it might be a bit of a leg to Poole! :)

Franky: There's a number of posters from the Emerald Isle on here - particularly Son Vida and Ocean Froggie. Although their boats are a bit bigger than yours, I'm sure they'll be able to make some suggestions, and will probably be along in a bit.
