Fuel tank leak

I bet the guys a

t the yard all have your diesel in their cars.
Gotcha .When they have gone through it , they will fit the new tank tank gathering dust ( arrived months back ) sat in the corner of the shed .

Eureka moment just realised why there are so many Beny dealers in France .It’s because of the continuous supply of diesel from tank jobs :) Bet they don’t do EVs either;)
Pete will be along soon to tell me I’ve got that right for once ! :) :)

Sadly not Porto. There a very active Benny Trawler Group on FB and nobody else has reported the same issue as Bouba. So it doesn't seem to be a common fault. Which would also be consistent with Benny's lack of an immediate solution.

Another week has passed... the shipping company claimed that they tried to deliver the tank yesterday ...but the yard was closed...this was patently untrue and the yard boss is angry...he is trying to track down the shipment ?‍♂️

Remaining calm and patient clearly works brilliantly

Surely it's time to knock some heads together as you're going nowhere right now.
Who’s head? The factory a thousand kilometers away, the delivery company that I don’t know ?
The yard are on our side, and we have a good relationship, their work, so far, has been exemplary

Could have come down there withe my new chainsaw and borrowed your welder, had the old tank out in a jiffy, fabricated a new one and stuck the kitchen floor back in in a week. You would have been on the water in March and I would be a little richer and you a lot less poor. All as long as I didn't have to ride in the milk float.

Thank you for the offer....a bit late in the day innit..

so tank is in the city! Cannot believe that the courier co has it going back and forth to another city. means that after an angry phonecall by the yard owner to day, tank should be already with them as we speak.
(assuming courier co is not talking bull...)
