Yes, it is fortunate…this is the longest time that I have been marooned for years….and even worse, last winter was perfect weather…still, I don’t think it will be much longer…the boat yard is very good, they just get on with the work even if I’m not there…they are also changing the drip less seal while the engine is out…and paint the hull

They certainly have been cleaning and the boat does smell fresh….the gap between the hull and liner will require me pouring chemicals (bilge cleaner) and natural remedies (baking soda, lemon, vinegar etc) and pumping out with my engine oil scavenger pump…literally rinse and repeat until it’s lovely and fresh..

You could ask them to pressure wash the space, what the eye doesn't see etc. your conscience would be clear. ;)

And (!) can one duct tape up the boat air tight-ish and pump odour neutralising chemicals In and let sit ?

Tomorrow the Tesla man is coming to fix some minor issues...so probably Tuesday I will visit the boatyard (or at least call them)

My motto has always been that if you show that you care then so will the mechanic (unfortunately that never works with Volvo car mechanics)...
Anyhow tomorrow is Tesla day....and just to give you all a brief glimpse of the world of Tesla, here is a quick video...I don’t expect anyone here to understand it, except Vas..

All quite clever however in all three of my antediluvian cars I have several vents that both myself and the passengers can control independently to direct airflow hot or cold just where they want it.
