So what you mean is that Bouba should have bought an Itama?Next boat always start viewings in the ER first ……..after looking at the hull shape
Get a feel for the gen build integrity.

It's brought about as much help to this thread as your picture of an Itama. What exactly had your post # 121 , the crying baby image of presume yourself brought to the table in helping the guy ?
3/1 Bruce. With everyone having a stab at it I'm thinking Bouba should be opening bets. Make himself a little on the side to toast his joy or drown his sorrows when all gets revealed.
I'll put a tenner it's a return feed issue. Gimme the odds!
If that was the case, could there be tell-tale diesel smell / stain in the cabin side of the bulkhead vial capillary action along the screw thread?I still expect it to be a self taper driven through the other side of the bulkhead :-(
Yes, today we went (I was dragged) to the Beneteau dealer and left our details and are awaiting a return call. However, the Paris Boat Show is nearly here and this dealership does all the big shows and it’s a all hands on deck situation. So I’m not expecting an instant response. But I’m prepared to be surprisedBouba, I wouldn't panic yet. I think it's pretty unlikely a relatively new tank like this would leak. And even if it does, I'm sure the professionals will find a way of extracting the tank or repairing it without demolishing the boat.
Have you asked someone else to take a look at it? A fresh pair of eyes and all that...

Rubbish , he queried the anode bolt / catholic protection perforating ?It's brought about as much help to this thread as your picture of an Itama.
My money is also on "not a leaky tank"3/1 Bruce.
I'll be less specific ... Not a tank leak. 2/1 please!
There’s a little wiggle room, if some small flexible strong mechanics could undo the mounts and lean it forward a bit. But I don’t think there’s room to get tools behind or underneath without major surgeryfingers crossed if it is the tank, the hole is on a flat surface so could be repaired in situ with a bolt on patch of some sort.
I had been thinking to ask (but from a position of little/no relevant experience!) if it would be possible to tilt the tank in-situ sufficiently to view the other surfaces? Potentially that might reveal pin-hole or other damage - without the pain of removing engine + tank. There’s a little wiggle room, if some small flexible strong mechanics could undo the mounts and lean it forward a bit.
