Fruit flies

As swmbo insists on keeping fruit how do i get rid of these stupid tiny fruit flies?

You either keep the fruit in the fridge, dose with milton, stow it outside in the shade under a fruit/meat safe, (muslin cover) or scoff it rapidly!

Only consume fruit in its fermented form - don't do that healthy stuff. The flies just show how dangerous it can be,.......

Piece of fruit in a bowl along with some balsamic vinegar or sherry. Cling film over the top of the bowl, make a few holes in the cling film for the blighters to get in and position near the fruit. They get in but can't get out, it's very pleasing.

Go to Australia or South West USA. They'll make sure you don't have fruit flies aboard (or fruit, either!)
