Just posted a few pictures on my blog that may interest members of this forum showing a ship arriving at Avonmouth Dock as seen from onboard.

very revealing that despite the height above waterline, there's an area in front of the bows that is nigh invisible !


There must have been a button marked 'Breathe In' when you entered that lock !

It is quite interesting seeing the other side of the coin as it were. I have done the passage on a number of ships from dredgers to car carriers.

I've a few more similar shots to go on the blog including a passage on a former Blue Star Reefer and a Car Carrier that I will share on the blog soon.
