Frigoboat fittings- compatibility?

It looks like I may have to replace my damaged evaporator plate.
Do I need to buy another Frigoboat one, or are the self sealing couplings compatible with other makes?

The Isotherm fittings look superficially similar.

And as a general question, is it ok to take apart and rejoin these fittings more than once? You lose a tiny bit of gas each time so I presume at some point that becomes a problem.

I believe Frigoboat fittings are custom. A call to Penguin Refrigeration in Havant will help you.

I'd rather minimise the amount of labour that goes in to this... the refrigeration engineers here charge $75US an hour including travel...

Penguin got back to me promptly, apparently Frigoboat fittings are not compatible with other brands. Ah well.
