Any recommendations for servicing a boat fridge near Hamble.
Looks like its been leaking as small amount of oil under it.
Boat is in Swanwick.

Most fridges are hermetically sealed, so any leak at all is bad news.

I live in Hamble and happy to have a look to see what the extent of the problem might be.

Not sure what make of fridge you have but don't take it to a chandlery or boatyard unless your rich.

If you have a 'Danfoss' compressor (like fitted to my Waeco & and many others ) like me try and find a commercial 'compressor service company' as many commercial compressors have a Danfoss compressor

I damaged my coolant coil three years ago and two local chandlers said the best thing to do would be they would send it back to Waeco in Germany, shipping cost £80 (each way) + service repair quote £175,
I got it done 3 mile from the boat at £60 and it's still working
