No, not taken from a pub. But it is taken from a building open to the public (you pay) and you can park your yacht nearby as shown and scramble up the shoreline from the dinghy.
I am not sure if the tartan curtains help as I cannot recognise one tartan from another.

We also anchored off and scrambled ashore and up the rocks. We didn't appreciate you had to pay until coming out and saw the bridge (hint) and Paystation and coach park.

The certain type of sailor goes North of Ardnamurchan and is prepared to be a bit of a tourist sometimes.
You can see the very window that the photo above was taken from on the castle.....I think.

I thought Eilean Donan was too much of a tourist trap so gave it a miss. Glad we did visit Dunvegan Castle
