Friday caption

Off topic, but I'm not convinced it is a fake. His evidence is average, but the real life actions of an AHTS (or similar) backing in to take the tanker under tow all looks genuine. The name was changed as she was sold and the mast evidence is inconclusive (why would you photoshop in a for'd mast??)

No idea why anyone would be motivated to fake this sort of thing period, hence my confused emoticon. Probably shouldn't have made it sound such a statement of fact; I'm not convinced either way either.

Great pic btw and please keep up the Friday Caption slot, something to look forward to. :D

I am with Dyflin here; off topic. It looks like a number of salvage photographs I have seen and been involved in over the years. The larger vessel is likely to be drawing 18 plus metres and the AHT about 5 metres so it could be manoevring to pick up a tow following engine or steering gear failure or to assist in a grounding.
