It needs to be remembered that when on a boat your transport options are limited. The vast majority of ports and marinas will have a chandlery or a nearby ferreteria or supermarket that exchanges Camping Gaz bottles. It is perfectly possible to buy a lockerfull of adaptors but you are then faced with finding a garage or something similar where they sell the version of gas that you are currently carrying. There is no standard bottle fitting in France to correspond with Calor in UK, instead there are a dozen or so companies, all with different bottles and fittings. You cannot swap one bottle for another type. In Spain the situation is more clear with Repsol being the main supplier, but also some others. Spanish Repsol bottles are not interchangeable with French ones. Depots for the bottles tend to be hidden away on industrial parks. You could well find yourself holding bottles that you have bought that cannot be exchanged, forcing you to discard them.
Having toured both countries extensively by motorhome I have often found it difficult to find supplies and in a yacht it would sometimes be impossible. I strongly suggest that you set yourself up before leaving UK with Camping Gaz. It can be rather more expensive but it will pay for itself many times over in convenience.
