My boats air draught is stated at 3.45m, or 3.05 with the radar arch down. Who knows how close to 3.5m the bridges are, and I suppose to a large degree it must depend on water levels anyway. The boat draws 0.9m so I'm hoping this is not a problem, 3.3 beam.

Which is the best route down to Sete/Grau de Roi/Aignes Mortes, via Canal du Midi? Rhone? Anyone done it. I'm talking about mid August maybe.

Cheers

Can't help on Canal du Midi, but took Turbo 36 on canals between Niewpoort and Dunkirk and although we made it (eventually) several of the bridges were very much lower than indicated. Usually because pipes had been slung underneath, significantly reducing airdraft.
We were originally going all the way to Calais on the same canal system but fortunately decided against. 2 other boats continued to Calais and confirmed that there is no way we would have made it. On paper we should have done!!

Measure your own boat exactly.if it is no more than 3.5m you will be OK, depending on your choice of route
