Arrived in Guernsey having filled out the track and track on line and paid the £25 per PCR test. Results after 12 hours or a good nights sleep and free to go After moving front the isolation pontoons to a berth. Weather is stunning everything is open no social distancing, no masks I am not sure I want to come lhome.

The place is empty I am so surprised it is one place we can go to that is open, the harbour awaits…

£25 for a PCR test is reasonable but you have to take a second test after 7 days or when leaving which ever comes first. I am not sure why I have to take an exit test when leaving seems a bit pointless it is not as if they have any track and trace mechanism to track anyone I may have come into contact with. However them‘s the rulers so hey ho, what pub shall I visit tomorrow…

Good work.

Did you report your trip beforehand or did you just rock up?

If you were to fail the second test they would get a list of your contacts pretty smartish and quarantine them:-

Traveller tests positive during passive follow-up
