Just to put out a bit of loving for a change.
Jim came and 'helped' us instal our electronics at the weekend - love and respect for Jim taken as read - but this post is about something consqeuential to that...
We thought we had all the bits but found to be missing two t-pieces for the NMEA backbone. Off we trot to the shop to buy a couple. No can do. Not in stock. So what happened? Well, fortunately Jim was certain he had two spare at home, so Henry in the electronics department disconnected some of his display and gave us those two for free on on the promise that we would replace them asap.
What lovely service! It certainly made the difference to us.
As luck would have it, while we were tidying up at the end of the project, we found the errant two so were able to replace them pdq.
Have to say that although the prices may be on the high side, we have always found service and advice to be very good at the chandlery at Fox's.
