Same with me, depends on when really as I seem to be rapidly running out of summer!

I'm in, but only if good weather window. My little 21'er takes a battering if things get really rough

<hr width=100% size=1>Err, let me know if Depsol enters the forum, I'll go and hide

We're in but depends when?

If it's before the 23rd June we will be up for it for sure, after that until the 30th Aug we are at the UKSA so may be doing it on the Phantom 37 they have anyway. It all sounds like fun either way.

er - well if Brendan's going I have no excuses!

Can I suggest that you establish a 'quorum' for a particular date / plan and then publish that so that others can work out if it fits with their plans / conditions etc

All the events so far have succeeded on the basis that someone was definitely (extreme weather rules applying of course) going to do something (what) sometime (when) and does anyone else want to come/go to. Interestingly the more definite the plan - the more takers appear!

So - who's up for Cherborg then leaving Friday evening and returning Sunday? Weather looks about as good as it could for mobo's although tides are a little big and worth avoiding wot if poss.

Note the following weekend is Sailbad's stag do (so he will be going - alone - but don't tell him it's a surprise)............../forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Yes, I am sure I speak for Steve D aswell that we would like to go through the race on a neap tide if poss. Otherwise is the longer hugging Alderney route to avoid the overfalls unless we are lucky and the tide is right for us in the morning.

I'm up for it.

But, why cherbourg? St Vaast similar distance but much nicer, would have to get weekend right due to locking in etc

Whoops - I was suggesting a line for the thread rather than from me..sorry if I have caused confusion!

Having said that it is easier for the Solent gang to organise themselves rather than involve little me from Poole. You have enough interest / committment for a good trip in company - have a great time.

I will have my young daughter with me which, as Brendan eloquently sets out, is the most important factor in any passage plan this weekend!

Ah, bugger! We were planning on coming over your way next weekend, and then meeting up with Hagrid and maybe Nick2/Joanne2. Happy to do Cherbourg, though, if that's the consensus.

Presume the wrists are back in commission, as you seem to be typing OK...
