Forum Search Facility

Unable to search forum - been like this for a while now, anyone else having problems or is it me?

I get marginally better results, I think, by searching from Google itself by entering
keyword site:ybw.com/forums

Everything else seems to work ok. When I try a forum search I get the following response - "The YBW Forums are temporarily unavailable due to technical difficulties. Our technicians are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused."
Is anyone else getting this?

Working OK for me.

The message you are getting is odd, sounds like something left over from the old search engine days.

If its only happening to you is it a cookie problem?

Use the Search link at the top of the page, not the one at the bottom of the page. One at bottom of page is broken

Wish they'd fix it though, it's useful just to search the forum not the whole of YBW.

The search engine is not broken, just the link on the bottom on the page. The old search engine will not be coming back, as has been explained many times. When they were trying to fix the forum from stalling and freezing all the time, they installed a new database, and the old search engine won't work on the new database. So until the new forum software comes online, the google search on the top link is all that will be available

I don't however get emails on any reply to my postings, or pm's. does anyone, or is this a defunct forum feature?

Check your user options to see if you have them enabled or disabled.

Pmed you like many others have just done I expect!

PM option in the personal stuff (check your email adress is correct there as well.

The email notification is in the subscribe/ unsubscribe section
