Well I hope you had stern words with the engine. Of course it goes without saying if grease were on the bolts of one engine the other engine has probably been lavished with as much attention. For godsake dont fire it up till you check. That damper is heavy and liable to put a nice hole in the bottom of the boat. Sleep well tonight ?

Both engines have new clean bolts ?

Anyway. I deny that sitting in harbour this weekend had anything to do with engines. The sea looked a little bumpy. Just a tad. And I was wrecked anyway. Ended up as a party for 1 cos the ghetto folk could handle the tender ride over

My engines are currently purring like a cat thats just shagged a dog. But then they arent painted a sickly shade of green

My old TAMD 40A’s are running great. Tempted to remove the turbos and injectors to get them checked out but I’m not sure if it’s necessary.
My port water pump is leaking so I’m going to rebuild the spare and swap it out. Very decent previous owner gave me the old spare pump but it needs seals

I'm in that horrible scenario where there is nothing material/significant wrong with the boat.

What that really means is that either there is something wrong and I'm not aware of it yet, or something will go wrong the next time I go out.

Talking of which half the 35 who voted yes should probably be in the I wouldn't know bracket. We need a proper Bell Curve applied to the results!

And Farsco, a yes? You cheeky git! VolvoPaul already said you consumed all his txt allowance in one week!
