FORE CAST

Can anyone tell me how to stop the persistent "FORE CAST" ad popping up? It is very "annoying", to put it mildly.

Mostly I access this forum on an iPhone on which I’ve never seen Fore Cast.

Occasionally I visit here on a MacBook, on which I do see Fore Cast.

Is it bundled in by the forum owner?

Try ‘Brave’ browser. It’s been a revelation to me.

It drives me mad. I am using Safari on mac - no adblocker, I don't mind ads if they pay for the forum, but I totally object to pop-ups. What I don't understand is how they are doing this because most browsers have built in pop-up blockers. I wish YBW would be a bit more discerning with their advertisers.

There's a free app called Ghostery which I use on a windows pc and the skipper uses on her Mac. It seems to work well for us so might work for you.

YBW certainly don't invest anything in their web page, most of the stuff on the homepage here is at least 3 years out of date.
